My Panasonic 42PX60 passed it's 200hr's run in yesterday evening so i connected my Panasonic DMR-E85H via Component (Arcam DV88 only has Scart or Composite

), set mode to
Cinema with colour management set on
Warm and started to calidrate using the
PAL DVE Disc.
Setting the Brightness, Colour, Sharpness etc was all pretty straight forward, however, when calibrating contrast the disc advises that the Basic calibration setting is for CRT based screens and that later on in the section it will show me how to calibrate Projection based screens which it does, however, at no point does the disc refer to Plasma display's, even the Advance chapter doesn't seem to mention Plasma.
So if you guys could possibly help i have some questions:
1) Am i using the DVE disc correctly?
2) What test pattern on the DVE do i use to set the Contrast level on my PX60 and how do i use it?
This is my first Plasma screen and this is also the first time i've ever attempted to calibrate any type of TV so please go easy on me, and if possible could you explain your answers in simple terms
