its ok, but its heavy and awkward to work with, there are other materials that are cheaper but do the same thing, or you can investigate Green Glue, or other damping tapes?

thank u
i waited over a month for some samples from accoustic block but they never turned up even after they said it would twice .i lost the will to do buisness with them tecsound looks good

the irony being that the samples should have been sent from Kent too, they have a depot in maidstone I believe

This yet another brand name for very common Mass Loaded Vinyl, MLV, vinyl barrier, etc. Essentially a flexible PVC product made heavy with gypsum or Barium Sulphate.

As stated, there are much more efficient means to accomplish isolation and cost less. Solutions would primarily use plasterboard (great source of mass).
