Centre Speaker angle

I've seen on the forum that the centre speaker should be placed as centrally and underneath the tv. With some TV stands this is not possible.

For alternative positions in a TV stand or even on the floor, should the centre speaker be angled towards ear height?

Also does it matter if it's not exactly in the centre underneath the tv?

Thanks.

Ideally you don't want the centre speaker to be more than 10deg out of line in height from the side speakers. But we don't live in an ideal world so yeah just tilt your speaker to aim at your ears
