Calman Starting Help

Hi, I am about to start calibrating my tv for the first time using Calman and am a bit unsure on what to put in for the initial start up.

I am going to use the "get grey digital video calibration" DVD (pal) which will be played through my PS3. Am I right in thinking that on the Input Select on the software i should select HDMI - 1080i as the PS3 will upscale the DVD to this? Or 1080p?

Or would it be better to turn the DVD upscaling off and calibrate to 570/720i?

Any help much appreciated!
