Using a Spyder 2 Express to calibrate projector

Hi, is it possible to use a Spyder 2 to calibrate my projector? The blurb refers to calibration of monitors only, so i'm a bit unsure whether it would be suitable for calibration of the projected image on my screen.

There are some references on avsforum.com to using the Spyder 2 with the HCFR calibration software - i'm assuming this would be the route to go down.

Yes you need third party software to get the data from your Spyder in to a form you can understand...then you need to actually know how to use that data to adjust your projector.

HCFR is most home calibrators weapon of choice as it's free.
