Does the Xbox 360 display jpegs correctly (are colours correct etc)?

Does the Xbox 360 display jpegs correctly (are colours correct etc)?
Hopefully I've posted in the right place and someone knows the answer.....

I'm displaying photos from a USB drive connected to my Xbox 360 but I don't believe the photos are being displayed accurately. For example, reds seem to be too intense in colour.

My tv (Pioneer LX508) is calibrated to Rec. 709.

Anyone know??
