Speakers and odd room shape

Hi All,

This forum has inspired me to convert my garage - Thank YOU Also apologies for all the questions.

As you can see the room (using Sketchup) is odd as we live on a corner and the garage narrows to the back where we have a utility - which I have to keep.

I've decided to put a Plasma 42 or 50 inch on the new stud wall.

1)Do I need to have speakers on the sides of the screen? I don't know if I have enough room.

2) If I put speakers right at the back then will that be to far and thus should put towards middle?

3) Also do you think this is the right place for the screen?

4) What's the best configuration for speakers if I want Plasma at one end and PJ screen at other end/

THANK YOU all in advance.

Re: Speakers and odd room shape

it could be worse, it could be an L shape!

the shape and size of the room are not so much of a problem, if you can layout the speakers reasonably close to the ideal then its going to be ok, if you check out the Dolby website there is a nice little layout guideline, have a look at that, its something to go on. Re: Speakers and odd room shape
