Glass treatments at all ?

Hi there,

Having moved house, I'm in the process of setting up my living room again.

Now, I've got carpeting down at the moment and am awaiting heavy curtains to cover the windows, as there are a lot of windows down both walls (2 floor to ceiling windows on each wall). However, on the rear wall that the speakers fire at, there are the equivilant of 3 glass doors.

Is there such a thing as a foil treatment or something to treat the glass in these doors ? The room seems to bounce a bit at the moment, even though the floor is all carpeted.

Thanks,
Roy.

Re: Glass treatments at all ?

Depends what look you are after, but micro perforated treatments may be OK for your application. Basically a foil/sheet with sub 1mm holes, viscous losses cause them to absorb.

Dupe...

at the moment there is the microperforated plastic foil that Dupe refers to, there is also a thicker microperf sheet as well as a slotted microperforated sheet.
