Like everything, it's worth what anyone is willing to pay for it, if you're happy with your investment then it don't matter what the rest of us think.

However if you were asking us what would we individually pay i'm sure we'd all give you our own opinion, i never rated the nes as a console personally (it took the snes to convince me), even though the version of elite for the nes is probably one of the best 8bit versions, i'd probably had given it a miss at any amount.

true, though i've been watching prices lately and some sealed ones are hitting up to $1000 now, i guess i'll find out soon enough! cheers

If they're selling for that amount then yep it's a great investment
