ok so weve got a megadrive 1
weve got the power lead and original rf sat tv lead switch.
when i plug it into the mains and switches on on 9v it switches on. but then when i try to plug it into the tv it doesnt work.
so i plug in the switch into the megadrive then flick it onto rf. i put the other end into the input of a vcr player as it doesnt fit straight into the tv and then get an output cable from the vcr to the tv. I then plug in the satelite cable into the switch. so then when i switch it on no picture i think ive tried every channel and cant find it.
could i have some help please or should i try and get a new cable or something. if you have any questions ask i will answer with speed hopefully.

Is this the same lead as you have with it or some other?

I take it your tv has an aerial socket?, if so shove one end into the md and the other to the tv, you will need to select normal channels so flick the tv off av, then just search for the channel. The switch on the switchbox needs to be flicked the correct way too but i can't remember which, so try both.

More info is needed otherwise, what sort of tv is it? crt, lcd or plasma, what region megadrive, what is a "original rf sat tv lead switch"?

problem solved i just plugged stuff into random places and it worked!
