Classic Atari St game remakes freeware downloads

There are a few games that were never released on multiple platforms of the time period, in this case they were not released on the amiga as that was the competition at the time, this thread will contain a few remakes, the originals of which were only released on the atari st.

Don't expect a massive thread though as the amiga thread will still contain all the remakes of multi format games, anyway to kick off....

Remake of Bullet train which keeps the same name, no install required and is available from

Remake of Apogee Softwares secret agent this is called special agent and is one of the most polished and accomplished remakes i have ever come across, there is so much to the game and i urge anyone to give it a spin, this is one you will be playing for a good while. No install required and available from

Here :- Free Game Download of Special Agent @ Demonews.com

The default controls are the usual arrow keys to move, with S to jump, A and D to fire left/right, and TAB to cancel/bring up your objectives.

These threads are now obsolete due to a load of broken links and a massive overhaul to the main listing, the new listing contains all the games from all the remake/clones threads with links fixed and loads of additions, these include video previews of games and remixed music to play and download.

If you are browsing as a guest please consider joining the site which will then allow you to add your opinions, suggestions and feedback and discuss the included games, hitting the thanks button will encourage me to maybe undertake other future updates, for now though after 120 hours of updating i am done here.

From now on you will only need to browse a single listing for all the Retro remake/clones which is linked below and will be re-edited and posted in about 30 minutes, please also note that the new listing does not link to these old threads!

The Retro clones/remakes A-Z list here

Enjoy the list and the games.
