smart travel carbon footprint.

Here is a add on for fire fox that will give you a carbon footprint for different travel airlines and such it is a means to simplify your life by providing a no-brainier approach to trying to figure out how much of a foot print you will generate when traveling.

If I actually travel I would have tried it out but since I don't I have no idea how good it works

Re: smart travel carbon footprint.

The point is to cut the size of your footprint, as part of taking personal responsibility. This link helps make it easy and to help minimize the stress of trying to figure it out on your own. I am trying to offer simple convenience to make it as easy and painless as possible to be personally responsible.

If you cut your own foot print on your own you have no worries of the government doing it for you through rules and taxation. That you hate so much.

What you just suggested is to "go on as usual", which we can not do anymore the free dinner is over.

How many people really cares? I don't fly, but if I did, I would use the service that was the cheapest, that is what people do.

Very few people care about carbon footprint., sorry but you are living in dreamland.

And therein lies the problem.

Its the people who do not care about their carbon footprint who are living in dreamland.

MMGW is real, its happening, its getting worse and is going to cost us all an awful lot of money unless we take action very soon.

Because if we do nothing and let climate change happen life will get a whole load more complicated.

Or not.

Since you don't fly you have the luxury of ignoring the best choice.

I have the luxury of not choosing a Ferrari.

So we are all living in the lap of luxury and still sporting a very small carbon footprint.

Re: smart travel carbon footprint.

When comparing carbon foot prints who do you compare too?. That carbon footprint per captia that up to 2003 was interesting in that it is the Virgin Island that put us at the top.

That the USA itself was ranked 11. but My guess is we are now 3.

I wonder if there is a more recent version of that chart to be sure..

I don't fly because of the lack of money and also I only lfew once and I did not like it one bit. If I go abraod which at the moment seems unlikely it will be by sea, not air.

I don't drive either, but the government so called Carbon footprint website still want me to cut down. They have got a ghost in hells chance.

Which is why they'll bring in taxes. Because you won't do anything otherwise.

Re: smart travel carbon footprint.

MMGW denial is no longer tolerated on this forum.

Accusing the new moderator of that which you fear most will usually end in tears.

ad47uk

You are obviously upset.

Take a deep breath and walk away from the keyboard for a while.

What choice do you give me with a post like that?

If I didn't remove it then another moderator probably would after I log off.

I'm in no hurry to ban anybody or delete any more posts.
