Interesting that the amount they give to denialist groups is falling year-on-year though. Perhaps reality is slowly beginning to sink in.

So what? How much money do the greenatics, the academics and quangos that promote the doom tripe, get from the public purse - many times this amount and from you and me. Scottish Power is to spend £1.5 billion over the next few years to save 20% of CO2 emissions. Their customers will ultimately be paying for this piece of lunacy for a start. How much government money has been wasted on 'renewables' grants? Emissions trading? Public subsidys for windmills? I could go on, but I think you get the point.....

Or the MMGW argument is weakening to the point where they don't have to spend as much money as they used to generating counter claims and research to refute the alarmists.

I think the last figure I saw for US Spend on MMGW was 29 billion dollars - all those jobs to pay for, flights and hotel stays for the massive conferences, all those computer models which always need upgrading and changing (says a lot about the models...) etc etc
