Re: Harmony 515 vs 525 vs 555 whats the difference?
515 only supports 5 devices
525 is silver with Blue display
555 is silver with Orange display and a couple of extra small round buttons above numeric pad.
£ for feature I'd say the 525 is the best value. Scan had them for about £35-£37 delivered last time i looked with free delivery via AVForums/Scan free P&P offer.

From memory the mute button on the 525 is called sound on 555 and one of the extra buttons on 555 is mute
also the Prev on 525 is called picture on 555 and one of the extra buttons is prev.
So basically one extra button called sound and one called picture.
Remember though that the 4x button that use the LCD for labels in each activity can be customised for whatever you want.

Re: Harmony 515 vs 525 vs 555 whats the difference?
I've own a 525 since it was released and got a 555 18 months ago. I use the 555 on my main AV system downstairs (replacing the 525) and now use the 525 upstairs, so I'm able to make direct comparisons.
The 555's build quality is much better than the 525 which creaks as you press the buttons. The 555 is more evenly weighted, has a rubber back and feels like a premium product.
The 525 has blue back lighting which is easier on the eye than the orange back light on the 555.
The 555 has two extra 'mode' buttons labelled Picture and Sound, but these are more than just two additional buttons... you can re-program all the keys including the LCD ones to perform different functions under each of these modes, so rather than go back to devices to make changes to your TV or surround system, you can add commands not in your activity under one of the modes, so in essence, the 2 mode keys trebles the commands you can add to your controller. I too had assumed they were just 2 additional keys when in fact they do a far lot more!
In conclusion, I'll recommend the 555 if it's within £10-15 of the price of the 525, the premium feel and extra mode buttons are significant improvements.

Many thanks for your post
Could you or anyone else confirm, that you can actually re-program these Picture and Sound buttons (or are they reserved for the 'modes' you talk about)... (I have the 525, and would like to assign functions to the two extra buttons... and know that you can NOT re-program the Activities/Devices/Help/etc buttons... are the Sound/Picture buttons the same?)
