Copying Harmony device/activities settings to 2nd Remote

I have purchased a second Harmony Remote. Is there anyway that I can copy the settings from my original remote to my new remote?? What is the easiest way to achieve the same device/activities settings on the new remote without having to go through the setup routine in full.

I will be keeping both remotes.

Thanks
Martin

Copying the setup to a new remote is one of the options in the online programming site.

I've looked but must have missed that....I can copy my settings to a new remote but it doesn't keep my original remote details.

I'll have another look.

Regards

Re: Copying Harmony device/activities settings to 2nd Remote

Well I must confess I've not had occasion to try it myself. At the bottom right of the "Remote settings" tab there's a button marked "Have a new harmony remote? replace Remote". I'd always assumed that I could use this to copy my settings to a new remote. Then if there were further setting changes to be made, I could use it again to update the first one, etc.

Yes that's what you have to do...but I wondered if there was anyway that I could just setup an new account called "martins 1000" for example and copy my settings from my "martins 885" account. Then I could mess about with each account independently of each other. Doesn't look like it though.

Yeah, I guess if you want to keep the two setups separate (and different) then you'll have to set up a new account from scratch.
