Re: 555 or 758 is doing my head in

Assuming you mean the 785 they are practically identical in layout and keys etc.

The 785 is slightly longer to accomodate a larger LCD which can show 6 Activities in colour as opposed to the 555 with 4 Activities in Monochrome.

I have the 555 and its great but the LCD is not very bright and I would like more than 4 activities. However the 555 feels better IMHO.

If you do your research you should be able to get a 785 for not much more than the 555.

I started to think I should upgrade to the 785 and then thought why not the 885 which has 8 activities displayed at a time ;-))

Although most seem to love the new Harmony ONE for around the same price as the 885 I cant bring myself to have NO colour buttons and only 3 Activities at a time. Others say it's not a problem.

Let me know if you want more.

Alan

Also the 785 has a rechargable battery,[I belive the 525 + 555 chomp batteries]the 785 which I have is an excellent remote in my opinion,after having tried the 885 +the 1000.
