RFX9600 and wireless extender

Thought I'd start a new thread rather than add this to the TSU9600 one.

My wireless bridge turned up (I ordered this : http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00030I18A - although in fact, a gaming adapter turned up although that's basically the same thing).

I initially was not happy - it was sent from Germany and hence has a Euro power supply. However, the suppliers responded very quickly to my complaint and - if they've stuck to their word - a UK power supply should have been delivered to my work last week.

Anyway - it works fine. Initially it didn't - for some reason, the extender has to be powered on after the bridge - otherwise the extender gets an IP address but it doesn't seem to get a "real" connection and the remote can't see it. But if you power up in the correct order, all is fine. So my extender is now talking to my router upstairs wirelessly - well worth considering if you have the same problem as me, and only about £40 in cost.

good to know that works. i was having the same problem as you. although i havent yet got the rfx9600 i was trying to figure out how to wire it to my router upstairs.

i've since put i wire wire in place but i'm hopefully moving house this year and wont be running cables all over the place so you've come up with yet another great idea.
