Best remote control? Harmony or Xantech?

I'm after a Universal Remote that will control:
Sony STRDG910B
Apple TV 40Gg
Austar (PayTV)
PS3 (if converted to IR)
Sony KDL40XBR3100 LCD TV

I've had suggested for the remote: Logitech Harmony 785, or Xantech URC 2.
I want one that when I've set it up I can copy it's setup to 2 others. Any comments or suggestions?

I also need an IR Extender Control kit, so I can lock these items in a cupboard and control all of them from outside the cupboard.

Well I don't know about the Xantech but the Harmonys (Harmonies?) should operate anything that is infra-red controlled, since they can learn the codes from your existing remotes if the device is not listed (but thousands are). As to copying the setup, the online programming approach works by storing your configuration and key commands on the harmony website and then downloading the data to your remote by USB, so your need to programme multiple remotes (even different Harmony types) shouldn't be a problem.

I bought the 785 and am testing it, but can't understand why the cradle hasn't been designed to fix to a wall. You have to lay it horizontal, which takes up space and means there's a danger you'll knock it off easily. It seems a bad design.

Yes the charging system has come in for some flak - somtimes the contact is not well made and the remote fails to charge (people have been putting heavy things on top to ensure the connection!) I think this has improved in current models, and mine so far seems OK.
