Converting (Arcam) Decimal codes to hex

Morning all,

I am trying to input discrete on/off for my arcam FMJ MS250 into my prontopro. In the manual, it lists the remote control codes as follows:

System code for MS250 is 21

Standby-on 21-123
Standby-off 21-124

How does this fit with entering codes in hex, which is how i've entered previous discrete codes?

21 decimal is 15 hex.
123 decimal is 7B hex and 124 decimal is 7C hex.

The Windows calculator will convert between decimal and hex for you.

I think you mean that you want to convert these RC5 commands to a hex format for the prontopro.

a) you don't have to... If you go to 'add IR code' there's a RC5/6/MM button which brings up a box to enter system number and command (system number 21, command 123)

b) Using a little pronto-format generator program I have...

Thanks for response. Yes, you're right, although i was thrown off the trail by the latest prontopro edit software not having the RC5 conversion tool - i had to download the pronto version, enter the code and then copy and paste the hex into prontopro... what a performance!

Anyway, all working now!
