Charging/battery problem with Marantz RC5200

Morning,

I've had a RC5200 for about 5 years and it's been great. Now though it's only working for about twenty minutes before the battery runs out. Now I suppose this could be a problem with the battery or the charger, any ideas on which is more likely?

Where do you get new battery packs for it? I know the RC9200 (or is it the RC9400?) uses the same battery. Wasn't there a virtually identical Philips Pronto model, or am I thinking of the Marantz 5000 and Pronto...? Will this use the same battery pack?

Any help would be appreciated...

After 5 years, it's almost certainly the battery. I can't help regarding where you get a replacement though.

Pronto wizard says the battery for the RC9500 and your RC5200 are the same and that is the same as the ones on the UK links! So the US one is a steal if he ships to UK!

EDIT - I just clicked on buy on the US site to see the cost of shipping and it says - NO shipping outside US!
