Logitech Harmony 1000 & One - Questions

Hi there, wondering if anyone can answer these questions?

1) My 525 is great, but its a bit old-fashioned for my liking, and there's one big problem: with the PJ on the ceiling, and the kit rack sitting on the floor, I can't point it at both at the same time! Hence most of my activity buttons are pointless. Which Harmony remotes overcome this, and how?

2) Will the Harmony One be able to do what I've described above?

I have a similar issue in that my projector is positioned on the floor in front of me while all my other equipment is located on a rack to my right. I got the wireless extender and placed it on the equipment rack. so there is no need to point the remote at the equipment on the rack and if I want to start an activity that requires the projector I simply point at the projector and the wireless extender ensures everything else gets switched on.

Ah so that sorts things out. What remotes work with the wireless extender, and how much is it? Does it come as standard with the 1000 or One?
