Sony remote compatibility codes
I just got a new Sony 40w3000 which comes with a RM-ED010 remote. I am using it to control my other components which include a new BR player, and older sony DVD/HD recorder, and a Yamaha AX892 amplifier.
My problem is that the Yamaha is older, and there a no compatibility codes in the manual for anything other than AV amps. I have called Sony, no luck, and I have called Yamaha, also no luck. So the question is, other than buying a universal remote, or a new AV Amp, any idea if there is a workaround for this? Hidden codes, ranges of codes to try, etc.... Thanks for the help, Dan |
