I cant get the remote to turn to the right input
when choosing an activity
it keeps gettin the wrong one
tried customer support no joy
its driving me nuts
any ideas

Have you tried using the help key when you switch it on, this usually allows you to select the correct input. It should then save the setting.

The "Help" button doesn't change any settings.

Call tech support again and ask to be escalated to Tier 2 if needed. They can definitely fix it.

Select the TV device then setup, choose advanced setup

Click next until you reach:

How do you change inputs for your TV using the original remote?

Change it to Method1

Click next etc

When you reach

Select the remote button you press to display and cycle through the source inputs.

The button you want is Inputnext

I've done all that but when i push watch sky hd
for example sometimes it stops at ext2 and then
sometimes it gets it right

Does your TV have SCART auto-switching? This will confuse Smart State and needs to be disabled.

Does the problem only occur when you first turn the TV on, or all the time? If it's only when you first turn it on, then increase the Power On Delay for the TV.

Also try increasing the Input Delay.

Increase the delays to something way too long to see if they are causing the problem. If so, you can reduce them to something more useable.
