Advise needed on my next AV Purchase

Right been toying with the idea for a while to get a 885 or 1000

Equipment i have and would like to control

1. Sony 40X2000 TV
2. Sony XL201 Media Centre
3. Sony DAV SC6 DVD Surround System
4. SKY HD

Ok my Question is that my surround system only has 1 function button to scrool through the source ie Radio,DVD,TV etc


So i have read about the Harmony being able to be set for activities ie Turn on Radio so if my surround system was off and switched on haw would the remote know when the radio source has bee reached on the surround system

Same as the TV really to scrool from different AVs to another only has one button so how would Harmony know when AV6 is reached

Or is the Remote THAT CLEVER

Yes the remote is that clever,it knows what equipment is on/off and what input its on.You state what equipment and inputs you have,when setting up the remote,through your home page, via the website,this can be changed/updated anytime(eg you change your kit).Any probs they have an excellent FREE helpline.Hope this helps. Ps I have an 885 excellent remote.
