replacement sony remote

asked my local sony centre today if they can supply a remote for a va555 es receiver, they can but it will cost me £200 anybody know where i can source one from, thanks in advance

If you can't find a replacement have you thought about a good universal learning & pre-programmed remote control to replace all your other remotes?

i sold the receiver and the buyer says that the remote was damaged whilst being shipped, havent seen pics yet but would need the original remote, must be able to source one from somewhere,

try ebay, particularly the US site and do a search for "Sony rm" the following is what is referenced to in the service manual
1-476-607-21 REMOTE COMMANDER (RM-PP505L) (DA3ES)
