Question One For All .v. Harmony

I currently have a One For All URC7562 universal remote.
I am thinking about getting a new one because i have had this afew years now and with technology moving on, thought a new one may be better now.

I have a Panasonic TV, Panasonic Video/DVD combi with Freeview and a Topfield PVR sat receiver.

I have been looking around and looks like the Logitech Harmony remotes are more popular than the One For All controls.

WHICH IS BEST ?

Looking at the OFA and Logitech websites, the Logitech remotes look as if they are better, they even plug into your computer which the OFA controls don`t.

I have my eye on the Harmony 525 - Is it any good ?

One For All or Harmony ??

Re: One For All .v. Harmony

I own 2 Harmony remotes the 525 and 885,for the money there both excellent but i much prefer the 885,Only bad thing about 525 it numbers have rubbed of the rubber number buttons.

For the money though i would go harmony every time.

Re: One For All .v. Harmony

Having owned both a One for all Kameleon 6 and now a Harmony 655, the Harmony is by far and away superior.

There's nothing wrong with the Kameleon, and it did a fine job, but for all round flexibility it's the Harmony every time.

And the help line is 2nd to none.

Re: One For All .v. Harmony

Having owed a few One For All's, switching to Harmony was like a breath of fresh air. I would never use One For All again for so many reasons.

Harmony every time - no question about it. I still have a One For All which I replaced within a few weeks of buying it with the Harmony 885 .

Re: One For All .v. Harmony

I used to use a kameleon one for all and now have a harmony 885. Theres no way I would go back to a one for all after experiencing what the harmony can do. It's like moving from a lada to a ferrari.
