OK need help in the best way to achieve my remote solution and recommendation on what remote.

Here is what equipment i have

• TV
• BlueRay Player
• Apple TV
• Ipad Streaming to Apple TV - Most of the time playing music from Spotify

Now i off course need some kind of remote solution for this .. weather it be separate all in one remote such as harmony or do i go down the ipad control route ?

The ideal solution is would like to press a button . like Watch Movie/ Watch TV/ Play Music and this would turn on needed equipment.

But then if im using spotify i would always have to press start on the ipad anyway hence i thought of using the ipad fully for control ?

Views on the best way . also looking in the future to get electric curtains and light control also so future proof would be good.

Any Harmony would be fine for this but for using a telephone instead I was assuming you'd have read the thread:
