Cool IR programmable Keypad...

Yo i'm after a we'll priced on wall key pad that can be programmed/loaded with hex codes to control any IR controllable device. I can only seam to find one's that require a central hub/control amp to function. I just want a basic keypad that controls a 4 way slave amp to provide music to different rooms...is this too difficult!!! Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

Much, much too vague.
Do you want one keypad or a keypad for every room?
Do you need the amplification or do you already have that?
How many rooms?
Give us some idea of budget.
A simple keypad with IR out is easy, but is that what you require?

more info...

Sorry makitamark...here's some more info

I basically want 3 keypads for various zones. I have amplification in the form of 'Onkyo TXSR803 zone 2' for one zone, and a TXSR503 which provides the 2 other zones (main output and zone two output from 503). Each keypad will have control over its corresponding amp for that zone, i.e bathroom will be 'txsr503 zone 2 output' and that keypad will be loaded with all the HEX codes to control for 'txsr503 zone 2'. Alll the keypads out there seam to require syncing with an expensive multiroom amp. Hope this helps...appreciate the advice in advance..thanks

Thankyou for the clarification, you forgot about 'budget' however.
This is an excellent product and incredibly flexible.

There are a few options but you need to keep an a firm idea on how it is going to work there are some really simple keypads if you only want 4/8 commands on/off volume+ volume- etc but if you wnat more your better off looking at a basic 4 zone multiroom system.
