help with my harmony 1000 and rf extender

hi there i have just bought a harmony 1000 advance, i just want to no what i will need to control light's and led's? thanks in advance for you help.. might be a silly question but im new to this stuff...

Hi. If you can find lights that have remote controls that work by Infra Red then the 1000 can take over from them.
There's a thread near this one talking about "Apollo" lights that do work on IR - ask in there about them. Logi

Screwfix/Electricfix do a range of light switches that can be controlled by remote made by all the typical manufacturers such as Volex, etc take a look there.

Also John Lewis do I nice very tasteful range of remote dimmer switches for example
