Philips SRU8008,Any Good ?

sorry to post in two places but i wondered if anyone has one of these and if they are ok?,

they seem to get good reviews and maybe a bit better for my simple needs rather than a more expensive Harmony .

Thanks.

Re: Philips SRU8008,Any Good ?

I would also be interested in opinions on this remote.

I have a Panny plasma, Sky HD box, LG amp and PS3. I've been drooling over the Harmony Ones but am unsure as to whether I'd be better off with the Philips given that I'm currently 'only' dealing with 4 remotes. I'm aware there is an add-on that can be purchased with the Harmony so it works the PS3 but to be honest I rarely use it anyway.

Is it worth the extra money to get a Harmony?

Thank you!

What does the One do that the 510 doesn't?

Sorry - have done a search but couldn't find much on the 510. Have got a voucher for Amazon so could get the One for £80 which is tempting.

That's OK - You can see all the models at http://www.harmony-remote-forum.de/h...re.php?lang=en but only a few are current.
15 Devices, colour touchscreen, are two of the extra features, but they all use the same database and work the same way through automatic Activities.
