Pronto 950/7500

Ok, my trusty and vital pronto is playing up.

Every so often, but getting more regular now, the screen will do one of the following

- be almost a clear bright screen (some small pixels viewable over the whole screen)
- the hard buttons will light up but no screen
- the different pages are "seeping" through each other, so buttons will look cracked and stay on screen when you change the page

This can mostly be sorted by removing the battery pack and replugging in, biut other times it will take 30 minutes of the above and reset for it to work.

I updated the firmwire to the .17 as that was the latest but still no better.

Does anyone have any ideas on what I can try or should I start scouring ebay?

Re: Pronto 950/7500

Have you done a search on remotecentral.com? There are loads of people on there using these and if the same issue has arisen they will know and may have a remedy.

Although this site is always VERY friendly & helpful, not so many on here have the Prontos.
