They are huge, about an inch and a half thick I seem to remember. At the time I like mine as the layout was actually quite customisable, the remote had a grid layout and you could create your own buttons of any size and label them as appropriate. restricted to square or oblong buttons but they could be relabelled to your hearts content, including some special characters like play and rewind symbols.
Still Boxs and plain text only though
At the time the mosaic was one of the few remotes that was able to control an NTL cable box without extra devices, although later NTL and now Virgin boxs do now work using standard IR.
I always thought the mosaic was a cheap Pronto Wannabe TBH, If you can get either a classic pronto or Marantz 5000 for a cheap price (I picked one up for less than £20 on Ebay) then this would be a much better buy than a Mosaic.
