There is one of these for sale on fleabay no bids at 6.99
seems like a good buy (considering the price) also comes with charger pack any one owned one of these, if so what are your thoughts

OK John - I had one - they're big chunky and heavy, but as far as I remember, they work.

Mmm I typed a response earlier but obviously didn't submit.

They are huge, about an inch and a half thick I seem to remember. At the time I like mine as the layout was actually quite customisable, the remote had a grid layout and you could create your own buttons of any size and label them as appropriate. restricted to square or oblong buttons but they could be relabelled to your hearts content, including some special characters like play and rewind symbols.
Still Boxs and plain text only though

At the time the mosaic was one of the few remotes that was able to control an NTL cable box without extra devices, although later NTL and now Virgin boxs do now work using standard IR.

I always thought the mosaic was a cheap Pronto Wannabe TBH, If you can get either a classic pronto or Marantz 5000 for a cheap price (I picked one up for less than £20 on Ebay) then this would be a much better buy than a Mosaic.

I can't remember why I chose one, but it could have been because of the Pronto look-alike factor.
Looks were as far as that went though.

Agreed Prontos are much better even the old ones. How about this, currently at £9 with no bids

Although the NG (next generation) remotes are better still. (RU950, RU960 or the equivalent american models TSU3000 and TSU3500) I have 2 RU950s that with a bit of patience and luck I managed to get for less than 50quid a piece on Ebay

Even better are the colour versions
