Controlling computer via IR with Harmony One?

Yesterday I picked up a Humax 9300T PVR and a Logitech Harmony One. both great pieces of kit (The Harmony One software is a bit rubbish mind, but does the job). Unfortunately due to the layout of my kit (Under the TV, but obscured by the coffee table) I've had to buy an IR distribution amp (Just ordered the Keene kit with extra wands). I've also decided to pick up an IR controlled multi adapter so I can totally cut the power to my telly with the remote control.

But there is a piece missing in order to make the Harmony truly 'THE ONE'. I have a media server in the rack as well, which is off most of the time. I wondered if there is a way to get the server to turn on with IR commands, and not only that, but also be able to control the mouse using the harmony one? I wouldn't need it to be too fancy, but being able to use the mouse so I could say load up a browser and scroll down a webpage. Any ideas?

I may have just found a solution to my problem;

Webcam Whiteboard combine that with a webcam for 'mouse' movements, then add something like; Red Rat and Intelliremote to control mouse clicks, shortcut buttons and possibly even a primitive keyboard.
