Harmony One assistance please

Hi

I have set up my devices and a number of activities with some degree of success

I want two seperate activities as below;

PS3 to watch Blu-Rays = Set up ok and working great

PS3 to play games = not so great as I want my Samsung LCD to change from 'Dynamic' or 'Movie' to 'Game' mode for reduced lag when playing COD4

I cannot see a way of forcing the 'Game' preset and linking it to this activity, is it possible or not?

Your thoughts would be much appreciated

Regards

Chris

Others may have different ideas, but I would go through the settings of your PS3 Game Activity and then choose 'Add more controls'. You can add extra commands to this activity - select TV and then add the keypresses you need to change the mode you require. Then whenever you run this activity it will run the sequence and set up your TV correctly.

You're welcome! Forgot to add that you can also add extra steps to the section after the Activity ends - so you can set your TV back to the 'normal' mode.

Re: Harmony One assistance please

Thanks to Mark I am making some advances.....but when I add an action to the Samsung LCD as recommended I can see the Picture Mode option to add and once done it adds to the sequence. The next logical step would be to change the Pic Mode to Game/Movie or Dynamic but those options are not there.....

Any ideas chaps?

Re: Harmony One assistance please

Not quite sure what you mean, but you can add as many commands as you like to the activity, so if you need more keypresses to get your TV into the right mode just add more. You can also change the order of the commands in case that's appropriate.

Yes, it's not entirely clear in the setup that when you have used the Add button for a command you can go back and use it again as many times as you like for further commands.
