Hope someone can help me! I have a ceiling-mounted projector which is located just in front of my viewing seat with an IR sensor on the front of the projector. The rest of my AV kit is behind me. I use my 895 to switch on the AV kit via the RF extender, but this is too far away from the projector to be of use - the wires from the extender would need to be joined together or replaced with a single much longer one and routed up the wall and through the ceiling void to the projector. I also can't use IR from the 895 itself to switch on the projector unless I get up and point it back at the front of the projector (which kind of defeats the object of the remote!).

Perhaps I could get an IR repeater (Powermid?), but how would this work with the Harmony RF extender? Anyone got any ideas as to how to solve this?

Couldn't you add another RF extender? I believe you can have multiple RF extenders.

Yes, you can have more than one extender, but if you have a spare socket on the current one you can easily extend the length of cable to an emitter - you can buy a cable fitted with m/f plugs, or just splice some bell wire into the existing.
