Re: Which USB IR Receiver do i need for a pc

You may wish to have a read of my thread
All In One Remotes - A Fad or Genuinely Worthwhile and Useful?

i wanted to be able to use Vista Media Centre with a remote and couldnt find any decent remotes and IR Receivers on the market
So in the end i bought the speedlink remote linked in my thread above and use the Harmony One with the included IR Reciever and the Speedlink remote is in the box

Hope this helps, feel free to ask questions in my thread as well as here

Re: Which USB IR Receiver do i need for a pc

i looked at that one but because there is no model number anywhere you dont know if its in the harmony database soyou would have to teah it everything - i even PMed a member to ask and they said they couldnt find a model number

i believe the speedlink remote was sold by amazon as well so it may be worth a look there
