Hi

Just been into the store in Sheffield and picked up the 801 and 802 for a fiver each I couldn't leave them, kids will be chuffed
Downside:
No Box
No Remotes
No Instructions

So where can I get replacement remotes and instructions??

Any help muchly appreciated

Are these the Onn branded PVRs. Does the top of the unit look like the ones in this PVR image? Pay particular attention to the pattern of ventilation holes on the top of the unit i.e. the smaller width block of holes at the front and a wider block at the back. Ignore the front panel detail. Is there some identification on the Box with the software version and or hardware version, date of manufacture etc.
If it fits the description above then it is probably a Vestel PVR and if you have more detail it should be possible to suggest a source for the most appropriate manual and Remote Control.

There's no branding at all on the front of the units.
On the rear it says:
Asda LEPVR0801
Asda LEPVR0802

No soft or hardware version and manufacturing date.

I've uploaded some images of the 802

Those images are not of a Vestel PVR. I can't remember the actual manufacturer but they were I think sold under the Yamada brand name i.e. as on the link here. I think Umax may be the manufacturer or maybe a distributor.

The website here may be of help. No sign of a Manual on there though.

Thanks for that.
I found a manual for a different brand (Akura AMTDT3502) apart from the HD cover being on the bottom of mine they look the same.
So £38 for 2 pvrs, 1 80 gig and other 160 gig me thanks I got a bargin (if they work)

Yes I've got the Manual for the Akura AMTDT3502 and as you say it appears to be the same as yours. Akura do provide a manual on the link here.
