No or bad Signal

Hope some can help please.

Just got a Humax 9150, plugged it in and I get a message 'No or Bad Signal'. I have tried it out on my external also a loft aerial with the same results. My old STB a Sony and a Goodman’s both work fine with signal strength and quality good to excellent in the case of the outdoor one.

Is this a general issue with Humax requiring greater signal strength or have I got a duff box.

Regards.

I've no knowledge regarding the sensitivity of this unit... but given that you have tried it on two aerials ... one of which produces a known good signal strength, and works OK with two other units... does strongly suggest that the unit has a problem.

Thanks Gavtech.

Looks as if I have picked a bad one, so back it must go.

Regards.

Re: No or bad Signal (Cracked it)

Just discovered what the problem was. For some reason the unit stored most of the main chanells in the 800 range, deleted all and re-tuned, for now at least all is well.

Regards.
