Copy HUMAX 8000 to HUMAX FoxSat-HDR?

Hi. I have taken the plunge and bought the new HUMAX FoxSat-HDR. Does anyone know if I can copy (transfer) my recorded programs still on my HUMAX 8000 (80gb single tuner) to the new FoxSat-HDR? Thanks in advance. priyp

Sorry no way, you can't record an external source on any pvr. You can't access the data on the 8000 HDD without removing the HDD. Even if you did this and could read the disc on a PC you can't import non native video (as yet) to the foxsat due to the fact that 2 support files need to be created. AFAIK no one has pulled this off yet.

Basically you are stuffed three ways.

Thanks for both your (speedy) replies ... Graham, you confirmed my thoughts/fears ... will just have to create some DVDs with my Sony recorder before I swap over the units. Cheers
