Daewoo DSD 9503TFP reboots

My Daewoo 9503TFP periodically shuts down briefly and switches on again. If it's in the process of recording, it starts recording again when it comes back on, but obviously there's a break in the recording.

I have formatted the hard drive and checked for a possible software update (none available) but still the problem persists.

I can be doing anything from simply changing channels to fast forwarding a recording. It very briefly flashes up a grey box with some confirmation or other about the hard drive (I think it's the same one I got after formatting), then I get a green screen and a re-boot. It even does it overnight during an unattended recording.

I'm sure I've heard of it happening with other similar boxes, but is there a known remedy I can implement, or an upgrade which I can get hold of?

Re: Daewoo DSD 9503TFP reboots

I found a huge Daewoo thread on Digital Spy which contains posts about your problem (I haven't gone any further into it, that's up to you ):

Digital Spy Forums

Hope it helps,
