Connecting Humax 9300T to Pioneer LX5090

I have the above combination and connected as follows.

Aerial to PVR and out from PVR to Plasma and this all works fine, however, when I switch the Humax into standby I cannot watch the Pioneer's own inbuilt Freeview, as there is no signal, this is the way I used to connect a VCR and it should work.

I do not want the PVR on all the time, what advice do you have?

I don't have a 9300 but I think it's like the hdr and has two levels of sby power. If so deselecting power saving in sby will power the rf loop through. Alternatively fit an active or passive splitter (depending on how much signal you have to play with). Feed the Hummy from one output and the tv from the other.
