Quick Q: Does Freeview PVRs need a phone-line for its menus??

Hi.

Ive never used a PVR before, so please forgive the dozy question...

How do the PVR menus update their programming schedule??
Is it through the roof-aerial or does the Box have to be connected to the phone-line and its updated through that???

Its just that im thinking of getting my first Freeview PVR and i dont actually use a land-line..

TIA

Every channel on freeview transmits the full epg along with the pictures. Some do it better than others though BBC1 is usually the quickest at populating the full 7 days for all channels. In short you don't need a phone line
