Wharfedale 250 DTR HDMI - Need help, white noise etc?

I bought this ages ago, and yeah it has the problems that have been mentioned on another thread, but im not bothered about the crashing. I dont use HDMI, cause it doesnt work. I now use a "signal booster" cause of where i live, it is rubbish signal.

But just tonight, 19th Feb 09 - around 9pm, this "white noise" had started. I lost the user manual ages ago, and cannot find any online. The Digi recorder was off, but recording at the time of 9pm, when i decided to turn it on. I have checked my cables and they are in, and not loose.

Can anyone help me please, cause i cannot afford to get this recorder replaced or fixed.

That thread does not help me at all. It doesnt matter any more, as there is no weird sound coming from it now.

OK, I am glad it is now behaving; I thought the thread might have been useful because it does point out that the box is a pretty standard Vestel clone
(so a manual for a similar one with a dfferent name on it might be available to download somewhere).
