I have recently boughta a Luxor TU-TV2500 and have a couple of questions that I hope someone can answer.

1. When viewing a recording, I have found that if I stop viewing and return to normal tv, I cannot resume at the place where I stopped viewing, I have to start from the begining. ( I hope all that made sense) is there a way round this?

2. Sometimes I am getting recordings that I have not set i.e. 6 minutes of a lottery show. It appears to record at about 0400. Is there a way to prevent this?

TUTV models are not familiar to me, but I see a lot of problems with them whilst browsing the PVR forums.

There was an over-air update on Monday, apparently you end up with more disk space I don't know if it might have some bug fixes in it as well.

Anyway, it's worth asking questions in that forum where it's more likely there will be owners of the same hardware you have.

1 NO not that I have found

2 I never subscribed to topup tv or the free trial but stil get crap about lottery and sometimes 60 mins of payphone hits ! just delete every day.

anymore questions happy to help .
had mine since xmas and well pleased , no failed recordings or lockups so far.
tend to unplug mine at night and just plug in a few hours before I want to record as it gets a bit hot in the enclosed tv cabinet. Only takes about 2 mins to boot up from unplugged

I did notice I had more disc space so that worked. However the unit froze yesterday and wouldnt turn on. I unplugged it, plugged it back in again and got it going. I have also had problems of failing record programmes. I get a message saying the recording was corrupted. How that happens I dont Know. Any ideas ????
