Hi,

I've been reading about the inability for the 9300 to adjust the aspect ratio over HDMI, so instead 4:3 images are stretched out to 16:9. This is fairly important to me as I'm looking to buy a new PVR shortly.

Is this still the case or have any recent firmware upgrades fixed this issue?

If this hasn't been fixed, how does RGB compare to HDMI picture wise, as this could be a workaround.

no it hasn't been fixed in the lastest firmware.

and RGB vs HDMI, well lets say i like hdmi but lots of people prefer rgb, i have tried both and rgb does give a very good picture. but like i said i like the hdmi

cheers - I'll have to decide whether RGB would be ok (with the hope that they fix it eventually) or go down the freesat route instead...
