"E-HW" on PVR 9300T

hi all, newbie here so be gentle

We've got a Humax PVR9300T, very happy apart from noise (and there's no way I'm taking off the lid and poking around/changing fans/etc!!!

)

Anyway, we keep getting a message "E-HW" on the thing when we boot up, it's set to auto-update software and I tried manually updating and the damn thing did it again, can't use it at all, have to hard reboot.

Anyone come across this? I've e-mailed Humax but their damn Customer Services don't work weekends

Any tips much appreciated, we love our box so hope it's OK!
