Hi Folks,

I have a Humax 9200TB with firmware 1.00.21 received by an over-the-air update last Jan (2008).

I've never been totally happy with it - it never seemed as stable as the original firmware the box shipped with. Occasionally it forgets to record stuff, deletes recorded programs or the box just hangs (normally first thing in the morning).

Does anyone know if there's a newer firmware available that may be a bit more reliable, or if not how I could go back to the original firmware and try that again. I'm not overly bothered by the series link feature the upgrade added - I would rather live without that and have a stable box.

You have the latest software.

You can install previous versions of the software via the Serial port. See the Humax site here and here for details on how to do it. At least some of the earlier versions are available but I'm not sure where from. I thought they would be on the Humax site but I can't find them ATM.

I've also searched a little here in the forums and I can't find a working link to the previous firmware either (1.00.15) - the previously posted links are now dead. If anyone has working link I'd very much appreciate it
