have never bothered connecting audio from Topfield PVR to surround amp as I listened through the TV.

Getting a new Pioneer TV delivered today, so would like to connect PVR to my Arcam AVR 200. please anyone, whats the best/correct way to connect it??

do you mean the red digital thingy on back of topfield??

I don't think the arcam avr 200 has one of these....it is analogue only I think

LX5090 just arrived and glad I went for a 50inch tv...... not to big at all

If you have not got digital inputs (s/pdif) then you can use the pair of standard analogue coax connections marked left audio out and right audio out to any spare input on your amp

Arcam - Diva - Home Cinema - AVR 200 RECEIVER

If yes, it says it has 2 digital sound inputs; just check at the back. They are pretty hard to see as they are small, usually black and they have a "curtain" to hide the insides.

My toppy is connected to my receiver through them and I get good sound, better than with the stereo connections.

The spec says you have 5 digital inputs 3 coax 2 optical. The Toppy needs an optical, pop to B&Q and pick up an optical universal S/Pdif lead.

Blimey! what can I say! other than thanks

maybe not such a bad amp after all lol

connections were hidden underneath all the speaker cables, thats why I did not see them....have had the amp a good while.
