have had my hummy for about a month now without any problems untill a few days ago. i have lost the signal strength and quality on all of my channels!!! i use a rooftop aerial which has direct line of sight to the transmitter (Blackhill about 15km away) im wondering if the box is broken as all other digiboxes in my house use indoor aerials without any signal problems. i have tried connecting my hummy to these other aerials and tvs with the same problem. the signal stength varies quite rapidly from 0% to 14% with signal quality about the same. to test the rooftop aerial i connected an old digibox to it and i get full signal and quality. so does that rule out the aerial and wiring being the problem??

try unplugging every thing for the humax leave 5mins then plug in ariels first then plug back into wall socket etc, then turn on and go to scan channels and try scanning again. or it could be that your too close to your transmitter i read somthing about that on these forums

yeah iv tried all of that, if i was too close to the transmitter then why has it been working fine for over a month? might try default to factory settings and see if that resolves it.

kool thanks ill do that. just to add another twist, it seems to be working on certain channels now bbc and itv but still missing most of them. the mystery deepens. cheers
