Advice: Toppy goes Poppy (Topfield HD Problem)

Has anyone ever changed the HD in their Topfield PVR?

Mine crashes and you can hear the HD having a little fit inside (I have tried a format etc but I am pretty sure it is not happy anymore).

Is there a specific type that is best?

Cheers in advance

Take a look at the Toppy Forum, there's quite a bit of info on there from users who have upgraded the HDD.

This is the 500Gb drive that Topfield fit in their new 5810 and it works fine in the 5800. I fitted one a couple of weeks ago and its working fine. I should warn you that its very slightly noisier than the 160Gb drive that was fitted. Nothing too annoying, just more of a low level hum.
